Lisa and Ilya | October 24, 2015
Mandarin Oriental Wedding | Boston, MA
We are honored to announce Lisa and Ilya’s marriage today on the blog! These two have been together for two and a half years after meeting online and have been inseparable ever since. As for the proposal, Ilya sent Lisa on a scavenger hunt around NYC. How fun is that?!
The wedding was nothing short of perfection; both the ceremony and reception were held at the Mandarin Oriental in Boston.
Lisa and Ilya danced to Lucky by Jason Mraz for their first song. The father-daughter dance was “The Way You Look Tonight” by Frank Sinatra and the mother-son dance was “My Life” by the Beatles.
What advice would these two offer to future engaged couples? “Hire a wedding planner,” says Lisa, and according to Ilya, “There are many decisions to be made throughout the process – determine which are most important to you before organizing.”
As far as working with the JessFoto team on their big day, the couple said, “The photographers were amazing with us, our families and guests. It’s rare that you have people providing feedback about how well the photographers worked with everyone to get the right shots.”
Wish you could have been there, too, blog readers! At least you can live vicariously through the pictures!
