Ceremony and Reception

We’ve got another absolutely stunning wedding for you guys today! This adorable, now happily-married couple consists of Stefanie and Brett, two people that anyone would love to know. Their winery-inspired wedding day on September 5th, 2016 was truly breathtaking. Stef and Brett both agreed that seeing each other for the first time when the church doors opened was their favorite moment of the day. Equally important to them was simply having everyone they love surrounding them the whole day.

The bride’s dress was seriously gorgeous, too. You won’t find another dress like Stef’s in the United States. Brett’s sister, Jen, works for the amazing dress designer Veluz Reyes who is based in the Philippines. Jen has a private bridal studio in New York, and ever since seeing these dresses for the first time at her wedding, Stef was in love! She saw her dress online, went to New York to try it on, and immediately saw herself walking down the aisle in it.

They decided to not see each other until Stef was walking down the aisle. The emotion we captured in Brett’s reaction when he saw her was truly priceless! After asking them if they enjoyed waiting to see each other prior to the ceremony, they both said they loved waiting to see each other for the first time because it builds the anticipation in such an amazing way, and makes that first moment so special.

The ceremony was held at the First Baptist Church with the reception immediately following at LaBelle Winery in Amherst, NH, and was catered by Fireside Catering. They danced to their first song “She’s Got A Way” by Billy Joel which was played by BearFight (who has easily become one of our top 3 favorite band/DJ combinations).

When we asked Stef how her experience was in working with us on her wedding day, she said, “Amazing. There is so much going on around you on your wedding day. The JessFoto team literally made it all seem so easy from the timing of everything to making sure we squeezed in every last picture possible!”

We are always curious to know what tips a bride has for future brides after having her own wedding, and Stef’s is to not forget your lip gloss! Her clutch went to the bridal suite upstairs at the venue and then she didn’t have it handy during the reception. Her advice, “Give some to your Maid of Honor/Bridesmaid or even to the Groom to keep in his jacket!”

We also try to make the planning process as simple as we can on our end, and Stef’s biggest fear had been her timeline. “I just wanted everything to run on schedule. It all worked out perfectly (thanks to a lot of organized people, including JessFoto!),” Stef said.

Our biggest gift that a couple can give us is their friendship after a wedding is all said and done – and these two have officially become lifelong JessFoto friends. We love you both and wish you nothing but a lifetime of laughter and happiness… and eventually mini sliders! #MakeMeABerger
