SAY HELLO TO OUR NEWEST JESSFOTO INTERN – AMANDA!
A LITTLE BIT ABOUT AMANDA
Amanda is currently a senior studying Arts Management at Franklin Pierce University in Rindge, NH. Not only is she a full-time student, but she also serves as the Secretary for student government, is a photographer for the school’s newspaper, and is part of her school’s dance team. When she isn’t in school, she is volunteering at a local kitty rescue and spending time with her family in Topsfield, MA. Busy girl!
HOW SHE FOUND US
I was looking for internship opportunities and a friend who knew Jess told me about JessFoto! After sending Lauren an email, I knew a JessFoto internship would be a great experience to learn the in’s and out’s of photography and be FUN!
WHAT SHE LOVES ABOUT PHOTOGRAPHY
What do I not love about photography?! I love capturing moments of people’s lives so they can look at the photographs and relive the great memories. I also love being able to show people how I see the world around me through my photography.
WHY SHE WANTED TO TAKE THE JESSFOTO INTERNSHIP
So many reasons on why I had to take this amazing opportunity but the biggest reason is that I fell in love with the girls of JessFoto as soon as I met them at my interview. I knew right from the start that Lauren and Jess were genuine ladies with huge hearts! I am so excited to learn the ropes of the photography business world from the best people in the business.
AMANDA’S HOBBIES
Photography…if that counts!
Binge watching Netflix. Going to the beach. Reading. Dancing. Singing. DIY crafts. Volunteering at cat shelters (yes, my plan in life is to become a crazy cat lady). Don’t judge.
WHAT SHE INTENDS TO LEARN
My end goal is to learn how to successfully run and manage my own photography business. I want to learn anything and everything I possibly can – I’ve already experienced so much in a small amount of time. Seeing them while on location, how they end up with the finished image, and how they communicate with clients is instrumental to being a great photographer.
