St. Catherine’s Church and the Intercontinental Wedding Photos | Boston, MA

[dropcap]W[/dropcap]e’ve got another stunning wedding for you guys today! The wonderful couple consists of Jacqueline and Ray, two of the most genuinely kind-hearted people we have ever met. After eight years of dating which started back in high school, they decided it was time to tie the knot.

After getting ready at Jackie’s home, we were able to capture a first look between her and her father. (One of our favorite moments of a wedding day). The bride’s Danielle Caprese gown from Kleinfeld’s was S.T.U.N.N.I.N.G. We asked her how she knew she had found “the dress” and she replied with, “I went to Kleinfeld with my mom and cousins to just check the store out while we were in NYC. It was the 4th dress I put on and everyone was speechless when I came out. We all immediately knew it was the one. It was perfect – lace, fit and flare, crystals, and pearls! I just love it!” Well, it was nothing short of spectacular on you, Jackie!

Thankfully, the 80% chance of rain held off because that was the bride’s biggest fear. We could not have asked for a more beautiful summer day than the day of their wedding.

They decided to not see each other until Jackie was walking down the aisle. Ray truly had one of the best looks on a groom’s face we have ever experienced and are so thankful we caught it on camera!

The wedding ceremony was held at the breathtaking St. Catherine’s Church in Somerville, MA. The reception took place at the contemporary Intercontinental that sits right on the waterfront in downtown Boston. Such a gorgeous view of the harbor! Their arrival to their cocktail hour was definitely unique because they traveled there by water taxi. With a surprise bag piper playing as they arrived by boat, it was a great way to kick off the celebrations for the rest of the evening!

The couple’s two pieces of advice for couples still planning their weddings:

1. Schedule an engagement shoot so you are familiar with posing and get to know your photographer.

2. Specifically for brides, don’t forget a comfortable change of shoes and your lip gloss!
