The Hyatt Boston Harbor Wedding Photos | Boston, MA
[dropcap]W[/dropcap]e are totally thrilled to showcase Cara and Steven’s Hyatt Boston Harbor wedding on the blog today! These two have known each other since elementary school! They attended kindergarten through eighth grade together at St. Francis school in Medford and were each other’s elementary school crush. How adorable is that!??! They hadn’t seen each other since eighth grade but as fate would have it, they bumped into each other twelve years later at the Bell in Hand in Boston and have been together every single day since (obviously including their engagement session with us)!
As for the proposal, Steven was sure to tie their elementary school in and make everything come full circle in their lives. Steven took Cara out for her birthday dinner and on the way to the restaurant he pulled into the St. Francis school lot and popped the question in front of the school. Pretty sentimental if you ask us! Good job, Steven!
The ceremony and reception were both truly breathtaking from the stunning architecture of St. Catherine’s Church…to the grandeur and elegance of the party tent.
When we asked Cara how we were able to add to her big day, her response was, “I can’t say enough about you guys! We felt like we have known you and been friends with you way before our big day. From calming my nerves while getting ready and then dancing with us on the dance floor you were absolutely amazing. We wouldn’t recommend any one else!”
A major tip on how to help future brides and grooms prepare for their wedding photos would be: it would make things easier if you tell family and friends where to be for pictures and what pictures you want ahead of time will save you some time. If you tell everyone to stay close by it’ll make it easier and smoother to get the pictures you need and you will have more time to party!
Speaking of party, we always love to know what the first dance songs are, right? Cara and Steven first danced to “Can’t Help Falling in Love” by Elvis. The father of the bride and Cara danced to “My Girl” by The Temptations. And Steven and his mom danced to “A Song for Mama” by Boyz II Men. Honestly, these are some of our most favorite moments of the whole night. Without fail, LDC cries every time the groom and his mother dance together. Just so sweet!
Wish you could have been there, too, blog readers! At least you can live vicariously through the pictures!
A big thank you goes out to these awesome companies that helped make Cara and Steven’s day so special.
