A Classic Atkinson Country Club Wedding

Located in Atkinson, NH, hosting an Atkinson Country Club wedding is guaranteed to be nothing short of an exquisite summer-time event. With its meticulously manicured grounds, everywhere you turn is a prime location for a photo opportunity. Although the record breaking May 30th temperatures (90 degrees) could have made guests and bridal party grumpy alike, Kayla and Chris had a sunny and gorgeous wedding day.

Ceremony and Reception

While the girls got ready at Kayla’s parents home in Wilmington, the groomsmen were “getting ready” at Atkinson CC. When we say “getting ready,” we all know it takes men 10 minutes tops to get dressed… The rest of that time is spent having a good time. Case and point – when the ladies arrived for the ceremony, we found the guys racing around in golf carts. HA!! LOVE them!

Much like their engagement session, Kayla and Chris wouldn’t have felt right without including their fur-baby, Bubba, in the day’s festivities. While Chris waited under the pagoda for his bride-to-be, Bubba was also watching for mom to walk down the aisle. After exchanging vows and rings, these two were ready to kick off the night!

The glamorous decor and pink color scheme inside the ballroom were incredibly inviting to the guests for cocktail hour. As the night went on, toasts were given (take a look at that GIANT glass!!) and dinner was served. Between the father and daughter dance, the mother and son dance, and then the surprise Nana and son dance – there wasn’t a dry eye in the house. One of our favorite aspects of the ballroom was the balcony that overlooked the entire dance floor. AMAZING view for photos!

What was the best part of the night? The dancing, of course! We have been shooting weddings a long time, and with that comes seeing a lot of DJ’s in action. Without a shadow of a doubt, the DJ at this wedding was hands down the best we have ever heard/seen.

Chris and Kayla, we can’t thank you enough for choosing to share your special day with us. We walked away from the evening with smiles on our faces and feeling like we wanted to go dance some more!! Your wedding was the perfect way to kick off our 2015 wedding season. Thank you! Much love! xoxo
